2022 Wrapped Up: What We Learned, and What We Have Planned.

2022 was an absolutely wild year. I want to start off by thanking everyone that has supported Nobrega’s Kitchen, and our journey to this point, whether it be from checking out our recipes, supporting our high quality merch from the store, or participating by commenting or sending encouraging messages through the contact page. I created this website to help people learn the basics of cooking, and provide easy to follow recipes, and provide superior quality merchandise for sale from the kitchen essentials store. Personally I wanted to explore some fun recipes from the basics such as the mother sauces, creating killer dishes, exploring ingredients, and making the kitchen less of a nightmare for those who have had a tough culinary journey to this point.

At first I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to reliably keep up with this website, but quickly discovered that it was easy, as well as more fun than I had originally thought. I had started this as a way of helping others learn what I have learned to this point, and would like to think that the recipes I have released have helped those who needed it.

We opened this website in the beginning of 2022, after a couple of months of making cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and some Adirondack chairs out of my garage. I decided that I would start 2022 by giving everyone the basics to the French mother sauces, making sure to keep the life story section of these recipes to a minimum, and see where that would take us. Once we kicked off the spring season, I opened the Kitchen Essentials store with a few basic items including the handmade cutting boards I was creating at the time. Summer approached, I created a logo, and I decided that it was time to make this business official and get registered as an LLC, to which has been extremely rewarding. We ended the year of 2022 with 25(Twenty-Five) different recipes posted to the website, where I left comments open for critique, suggestions, and general feedback.

This brings us to 2023 and what’s in store for this year. I have accepted a new position in a new company(not cooking related) back in October, as well as trying to put in some work at my previous job as well. I want to keep up with the website as well as the business as much as humanly possible under these other constraints, so I will most likely be typing out new recipes as well as creating and gathering new kitchen essentials over the weekends, and in any free time I have. I am still welcoming to any and all of the requests of anyone, and want to explore new techniques and ingredients this year. This may be the first blog post of the year, but there will be more to come.

As always, I want to share a sincere thank you to anyone and everyone that have frequented my website, as well as those just passing through. I hope you keep coming back for more, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to use the comments sections on any of these blog posts, or send an email through the contact page.

Thank you for your ongoing support. Nobrega’s Kitchen LLC
